About the event
Join me, Hazen Audel, on an amazing adventure through the Sawtooth Mountains. This rugged survival hike will push you to your limits as you navigate the breathtaking wilderness. Strap in and get ready for the ultimate outdoor experience.

We will push ourselves but expect some amazing hospitality from our friends at Sawtooth Wilderness Outfitters (who doesn't like steak and red wine at 10,000 feet?:). Our goal is to pack in, but our guides will be there with horses to carry your gear for an additional cost if you need this option. Our hike will be approx 13 miles over two days. We plan to sleep under the stars of in tents at the top.
- Day 1: arrive at the lodge, and sleep in the meadow.
- Day 2: hike, camp/sleep on trail.
- Day 3: arrive at the top. camp. chill. grow.
- Day 4: hang. train. live.
- Day 5: hike back (1 day).
TRAVEL TIMING
- If needed we will provide transportation to and from the lodge from Boise, Idaho. Attendees are expected to provide their travel and accommodations before arriving at the rendezvous. Expect an early afternoon pick up (1pm) and evening drop-off (8-9pm on Aug 5th - or you can stay at the lodge/campsite). The location and time for the meet-up will be downtown Boise, at the Capital (In front, grassy park area - 700 W Jefferson St, Boise, ID 83702).
- If you are driving yourself, please meet between 3-5pm at The Sawtooth Lodge (Forest Rd 700, Lowman, ID 83637)
- Dinner Provided on night 1.

* A deposit reserves your spot. Full payment is due 60 days before the event or by June 1st. Any sign ups after June 1st need to payed in full.

PACKING
*You will be carrying your gear. So PACK LIGHT! We recommend a light tent, sleeping under the stars, or building a shelter. We will have access to pack mules and you can pay our guides to carry your gear - if under 40lbs. Our guides will find our campsite on the trail and will have access to some tarps incase of rain. The goal is to get comfortable in nature and get some good "DIRT TIME".
* We will provide: Lifestraw, mora knife, and some fire starting materies (Stuff we will be training on).
* There will be an area (base camp) for storing extra gear and travel supplies (so you can pack light on the way up).
