About the event
Mushroom hikes, camping, and survival skills with Primal Surivor Hazen Audel in one of the best mushroom picking areas of the world! We will be in the beautiful Pacific Northwest exploring the marine tidal pool ecosystems in the Puget Sound - during the best time of year to find mushrooms!!!

DETAILS: A 2-night, 3-day event in Washington State (NW of Bellingham) ending the day at LARRABEE STATE PARK then the The Wild Mushroom Show 3-5pm ($10 fee to get in) - At the Fishermans Pavilion - 2599 S Harbor Loop Dr, Bellingham, WA 98225
Be ready for car or tent camping. Colder weather and rain, it will be wet!
ITINERARY
*Consider arrving the night before to get camp set up.
Day1: Arrive 9am on the 25. Set up camp. Learn. Stomp around. Dinner together. Fire time, icebreakers, get to know eachother and learning with Hazen.
Day 2: Day in the woods/on road finding mushooms. Be ready for hiking all day, bring food and water and appropiate clothing.
Day 3: Breakfast, pack-up, brownbag lunch, head to LARRABEE STATE PARK for AMAZING TIDE POOLING tili about 2:30/3pm. Then head to The Wild Mushroom Show in Bellingham till 5pm ($10 fee).

* Teachings throughout: Plants and edibles, fire making, knife skills, shelter making, enviornment, and more!
Gear to bring
- Clothing and toiletires/towel, hiking shoes/boots, camp shoes or sandles + rain gear.
- Bandana or small bag to collect plants and/or edibles.
- Water bottle, food and light cooking/cleaning supplies.
- Knife, fire starter, cordage, and other surivial or brushcraft items.
Mindset
- Come ready to relax, but also challenge your own comfort in the outdoors and mindset.
- Think easy and quick to cook food items, this is a fall campout with open fire cooking or propane/easy or jet boil.
- Also coffee/tea and great discussions and common learning circles.
- Favorite book/journal, hammoc and/or camp chair.
* Participants are required to cover their transportation, camping gear, food. HAA will cover camping sites, guiding the trip, and the teachings. Come ready for a relaxing, fun, and informative camping event. Participants must be 18+ and be ready for some FALL camping.
